I just got word from Max that the Governor of Massachusetts has declared a state of emergency due to all the flooding. There's an article on it here. Read Max's latest blog and stay tuned.

The Nashua Telegraph caught up to Max in Westford, MA yesterday and published a wonderful article on him today. Register at nashuatelegraph.com for free to view the article and pictures. Well Max's stay in Westford lasted longer than expected, only because of the flood warnings in southern MA. He should be on the road again on Monday. In the meantime, check out the video of Max's departure.

There's an all new pictures page that includes some new photos that Max has taken while on the road. Several sightings were reported on the blog. Feel free to comment whenever you see him.

Max is off! The launch was supurb. The Lewiston Sun Journal covered the event and printed an article on Sunday. I will be uploading the video of his send-off in the next few days. I've started to to update the route section with detailed maps of checkpoints for each day. The Today show did not come due to sweeps madness. They are still very much interested and will catch up with Max at a later date. There is a new section in the Blog to post sightings. Max is doing well and thanks everyone for their help. Check back everyday for the latest.

Two more days until launch! We're all very excited. There will be a nice big gathering in Rumford to hoot and hollar as Max rides off into the sunset on his giant wheel of adventure. Starting on 5/8, I will be updating his progress daily using Google Earth. It's a fantastic free application which I recommend to anyone. I believe the Today show will be there covering the launch, but I don't know when that is going to air. If someone happens to see it and can record it, that would just be super. I will be adding more photos and videos of Max's launch as soon as I get back on Monday. Check back everyday to see how Max is doing in the route section, with daily maps and gps coordinates of his progress. See where he's at, where he's been, and when he'll be cruising through your neck of the woods. He can always use a free meal. Also check his blog as he will be updating it periodically with stories from the road. Post your sightings and share your own unicyclemax stories. That's it for now. I'm off to Maine to witness the unicycle ride of the century. Go Max Go!
